St. Francis Inn Policies & Why Book Direct
Cancellation Policy
Though we would like to be able to accept a cancellation at any time, we are a small family operation and cancellations have a significant impact on our business as well as our ability to properly serve our guests.
Due to the significant impact cancellations have on our business operations, we offer two different reservation plans:
- The Best Available Rate
- The Rest Easy Rate
- The following policy applies to all cancellations under these plans:
Best Available Rate
- At time of your booking The St. Francis Inn will charge the cost of reservation plus tax as your deposit. From the time of booking you have up to 24 hours to cancel your reservation without penalty. At time of your booking The St. Francis Inn will process payment for the full cost of your reservation, including taxes and fees. Any reservation canceled within 24 hours of booking will receive a full refund.
- If you do not cancel within 24 hours of booking, you will forfeit the entire cost of your stay. All reservations canceled after 24 hours of booking forfeit the entire cost of the reservation. No credit or gift certificate will be issues.
- If you add packages or add-ons this will be due on arrival
Rest Easy Rate
For Guests who value flexibility in their travel plans, The St. Francis Inn also offers a Rest Easy Rate. You may wish to book with our Rest Easy Rate which gives you peace of mind knowing you can cancel your reservation up until 24 hours before arrival. This rate must be selected at the time of booking.
You may wish to book with our Rest Easy Rate, which offers flexibility and peace of mind knowing you would receive a refund if you need to cancel, up to 24 hours before your arrival date. This rate must be selected at the time of booking.
- At time of booking guests are charged the full stay plus tax as well as an additional $50/night (call it a “convenience fee” or “trip insurance”) on top of the regular nightly rate.
- Guests may cancel their reservation up until 12 pm Eastern Standard Time the day before their arrival date without any additional penalties or fees. Your original deposit (plus tax) will be returned minus the $50/night fee.
- If guests cancel their original reservation later than the 12 pm deadline the day before arrival, are a no-show for their reservation, or cancel the day of arrival, they will forfeit their entire reservation cost. No credit or gift certificate will be issues.
- This rate is only available at the time of booking and may not be added to the reservation at a later date.
- If you add packages or add-ons this will be due on arrival

Not to worry! Most of our rooms are kept “pet-free;” pet guests are only allowed in a few select Inn rooms. All our guest rooms and common rooms are non-smoking.
